Three Cups Coffee Co.

Feeling peckish after work, we decided to check out Three Cups Coffee Co. at One Raffles Place which is pretty near our office. 



A nice place for office ladies to satisfy their sweet tooth or the guys to catch up over a cup of coffee. 


A plus point for those who want to enjoy a cuppa' while doing their work with their laptops! Even for instagrammers who want to instantly upload their photos online! Free WIFI! The wifi speed is also relatively fast and not laggy at all. 


Our Three's A Company sandwich and Chocolate Cookie Monster 




Even though we already had Subway sandwich for lunch earlier, this is an exception as we both could not resist this triple combo: Bacon, Egg Mayo and Grilled Chicken Breast. Even though the sourdough sandwich is a tad hard to bite but it is still toasted to a crisp. The triple combo is absolutely delicious, with the crispy bacon, tender chicken breast and soft eggs. Yum Yum for my Tum Tum. Subway can really consider this triple combo > < 

The Chocolate Cookie Monster is basically like a iced blended chocolate drink, with the taste of cookies like oreo? 

Overall, I would give this cafe a 3.5/5 as the prices are a lil overpriced for just a sandwich and a cup of iced chocolate... Perhaps I should have ordered their cakes as I see many other customers enjoying them, and of course, their coffees are more famous as how the cafe is being named. Well, maybe I would go back again...

Korea day 5

Time passes so fast when you are enjoying yourself. It is the fifth day in Korea. As usual, we packed up and left the resort in the morning to eat breakfast at the place we had our dinner the day before. I had quite a phobia that they will serve the fake "codfish" soup again as it does not taste nice at all. Luckily, the menu was beef stew soup but we do not eat beef so the soup was substituted with pork tonkatsu which is made with seafood. It does not taste appetising at all and I did not eat much as I am not used to eating rice for breakfast. I also hate having to eat mayonnaise with rice. It just tastes so...wierd...   After breakfast, we left for Everland. It opens at 9.30am but we reached there at about 10plus. We took a shuttle bus into the amusement park and took both group and solo photos at the entrance. Following that, we left to tour the park. Maki-San X Foodpanda

Literally rolled out of bed early for this Maki-San X FoodPanda event held at 112 Katong Maki-San's third outlet. Many thanks to Mich again for jio-ing me to this event since Paul could not make it  I've tried Maki-San once at their first Cathay outlet and I really enjoyed it and looked forward to rolling my own Makis at this event.  These days the trend is all about customization and insta-worthy food. Maki-San simply fulfill our need for novelty by allowing us to customize our very own makis with the toppings we like. Brown rice option is also available for the health conscious.  Really love the pretty and colorful packaging, which won several awards.  Even my friend brought home the boxes after eating > < Being early, we were the first to arrive at the event. We were given each a nice foodpanda apron to wear so that we will not dirty our clothes.    Mich is like a panda after suffering from insomnia last night ...

Mean Bean & Wicked Grind

After sending cousin off at Goldenmile for her coach to Kuala Lumpur, we decided to go check out Mean Bean & Wicked Grind cafe which is nearby, at The Plaza. From Goldenmile tower, The Plaza is straight up and around 10 minutes walk away. It is also just opposite Haji Lane which is quite accessible for us to go Bugis as we planned to watch a movie after checking out the cafe.  Upon reaching The Plaza, we were a little unsure if we were at the right place as it does not seem like where cafes normally should be. The reviews were accurate, this cafe is quite hard to find > <  All the stores there were mostly furniture stores or travel agencies, hence, we decided to check with the information desk. Much to our surprise, the counter staff knew almost immediately where we wanted to go and gave us directions that it is straight up inside. HOW ULU!  We finally found the cafe!
