Christmas Eve Dinner @ Holiday Inn Singapore Atrium
''Christmas, Christmas time is near
Time for toys and time for cheer
We've been good, but we can't last
Hurry Christmas, hurry fast''
Christmas don't be late- One of my favorite Christmas song from Alvin and the chipmunks
As my family do not have the tradition to celebrate Christmas, I am very lucky to be included in the annual Christmas dinner with Pigg's family. This year, we will be eating at Holiday Inn Singapore Atrium.

Christmas gift exchange is also a tradition in their family and I made this card, which is a little fail, but still looks like a Christmas tree la.
I also made my own box with scrapbooking paper to store the Christmas present that I got for them- a perfume diffuser from Innisfree

Tadah! So proud of myself that I actually made a box from two scrapbooking papers from scratch, value added to my present

Time to dress up and go out with my new shoes, painted my toe nails with the polish that Waiching got for me. Color also recommended by her which matches my shoes

Pigg came to fetch me afterwards as it was still raining and I had a lot of stuff to carry. Also partly cos I do not want to dirty my new shoes.
He also passed me the Christmas present that he got for me in Japan
I had been so curious about it that I could not wait and opened it on the spot after he have me the go ahead.
Tadah! A watch that he got in Akihabara, Hahas still have the wordings made in japan, it's like Japan trying to prove that it's not made in China.
Thanks pigg, he knew that I wanted a new watch that looks similar to the current one I have which I got from Thailand. I really adore the watch so much as it's simple with the gold and black hues that I like and especially cos it's made in Japan too.
I immediately took out the watch I bought in KL and changed to my new watch.

Fast forward and we reached Holiday Inn Atrium for our Christmas Eve dinner buffet.

A photo at the lobby before we go upstairs
Since we were early and the buffet only starts at 6.30pm, we got to go around and recce the food.
The dessert table is always my favorite at buffets

The fruits and cakes chiller
The wide variety of dilmah tea selection
Salad Bar!

Merry Christmas chocolate fondue for the chocolate lovers
Cold cuts section, not really sure what meat is that though
Cheese selections, sad that there isn't any of my favorite brie

Seafood on Ice! Pigg should be really happy since there are his favorite oysters though they might not be as fresh and big as the ones he had in Japan
Christmas feast could not be completed without stuffed turkey!

Pigg with the new cap I bought for him

After pigging out, pigg became an old man from eating too much

Toilet selfie of my ootd

At around 9plus, they prepared pan seared lobsters, could not resist to try them. It was a little tough though
It was really nice to be able to participate in Pigg's family annual Christmas dinner and every year, I would receive lots of love and presents from them. I really appreciate it, it has been the third Christmas together and I always look forward to better days in the future.

Presents for this year!

Guess I need not buy any towels and nail polish anymore for the coming year.
It has been the third christmas I am celebrating with pigg and his family, how time flies as I look back on our christmas photos we took last year.
The photo at we took pigg's place before we went for dinner @ Furama Riverfront Hotel. Back then when my hair was shorter and when pigg still has hair
The carving station!
We had so much fun at the photobooths they have back then, free photos!
Playing around with the props
Fun shot with pigg's parents!
The fruits table!
DIY-ed my own dessert platter
A shot downstairs at the lobby area
My favorite solo shot for the night, thanks to the balloons
Pigg and his reindeer pigg
I would say the food at Furama Riverfront is better than the one we had in Holiday Inn, but alas, its still a great night since I am able to spend Christmas Eve on both occasions with pigg.
