Dazzling Cafe

Well, what is better than starting the month on a good note by stuffing my face with good food. 1 July 2015 marks the first day of my cafe hopping journey with my fellow food lovers friends. First stop for the day is the highly raved Dazzling Cafe originating all the way from Taiwan.

The cafe is situated at Capitol Piazza, a relatively new mall which is connected to City Hall MRT, making it easily accessible. Totally a cafe where we can all find easily under the comfort of aircons. As I went on a weekday afternoon, there is no queue fortunately as I was expecting long waits up to an hour like what was featured in ClicknetworkTV.

The decor of the cafe gives off the posh and classy vibe as they made used of pastel blue tones and white to give off a clean look. The waitresses are also in cute maid apron costumes. It just makes me want to go in, chit chat with my girlfriends over a high tea session. Totally a place where girly girls would like and enjoy.

I adore pastels a lot and I'm in love with all the sweet and cozy decoration, as it makes me feel like I'm out of Singapore during the time in the cafe.

With my best girlfriend when it comes to shopping, Waiching (:

We shifted to the next table just to sit on this cute rabbit ears chair. But I somehow ended up looking like a donkey  > <

Norm to take photos once the food comes! Cameras eat first!

Mango and Coconut Gelato Honey Toast, recommended by one of our friends who worked there. A flavor that is exclusive to Singapore's outlet. Another plus point is that we can customize how we want our toast to be, Crispy, normal or soft. We chose normal since its our first time trying. The toast not only looked good on the outside but certainly taste good on the inside! So pretty, of course must take lots of photos! The waitress kindly told us to inform her once we are done with taking pictures, how considerate!

Being amateur cafe hoppers, we took some time to finish with our photo taking. Luckily, the ice cream did not melt that fast and we finally called the waitress over to facilitate us with the cutting of the toast.

The outer crust of the toast is actually hard and we are not supposed to really eat them. The crispy toast cubes on the inside are what we should eat, coupled with the coconut ice cream and mango. The cold and light ice cream with bits of coconut on top of the crispy yet soft toast cubes simply melts in the mouth. The taste is simply delicioussssss and not cloying. It makes me crave for more and I feel the mango and coconut is a perfect combination. I always enjoy coconut ice cream and am so glad that we ordered this.

My experience at Dazzling Cafe is a good one, so glad we went on a weekday afternoon as it is not that crowded. Hence, the environment is quite quiet, romantic and peaceful, a place I would like to spend my lazy afternoon with my girls or boyfriend. I would definitely recommend this dessert and go back for more.
