I'm Kim Korean BBQ

Finally Esther is back from Malaysia and the four of us can get together for a good meal (:
Thanks again to Mich planning and resourcefulness, we settled on I'm Kim Korean BBQ. I have always wanted to try this KBBQ as there are always long queues outside when they just opened. They also have attractive student promotions of only $12.90++ which is only around $15.20 per person!

The service of the staff is really impeccable. greeting us in Korean as when we walked in. When our grill got dirty, they asked if we needed a change without us asking.

Being buffet style, we could take whatever we want, they also have fried foods, noodles, teokkboki, kimchi, and a variety of vegetables to go with the grilled meats!

I really enjoy the garlic chicken, well marinated with sauce and goes really well with the lettuce wrap. We ate the korean style, put some meat onto the lettuce, top with garlic and enoki, open ur mouth wide and chew... yumz

We split into the non beef (Michelle and SzeMin) and beef  (Jeff and Esther) team
Am in charge of grilling the meat and serving them, piling meat on their plates

After pigging out on pork and all the meats, we decide to go museum hopping! Need to walk a bit after eating so much!

First Stop: National Museum of Singapore

Pretty origami exhibit: Spectrum of Paper

Then we went downstairs for the Singapura: 700 Years exhibit
It is really cool as we get to see what was before Sang Nila Utama era, where we were not taught in school

Feeling like Prisoners of War or more like a crazed man in an asylum

In conjunction with SG50, the museum also showcased a Made in Singapore exhibit, featuring 50 products that was once made in Singapore. It is quite interesting to learn that so many products were once manufactured here. I guess nowadays nobody in Singapore would aspire to work in a factory, thats why the brands have to move to a place with cheaper cost of production.

Next up, we headed to the kids PLAY exhibit

Took a lot of photos on the large couch

Trying to take a picture but the sun is way too bright!

Second and last stop: Singapore Art Museum

We wanted to go take pictures at the photobooth, but unfortunately, SAM @ 8Q is under installations. We hanged out at SAM for some time before heading home. It was a tiring day but I'm glad that we were able to meet up before Mich and Esther starts school (:
