Yoogane

Received another birthday surprise today but by the girls this time round. A few says ago when Kim asked me out, I asked if its only the two of us and she said yes. Yunqi was also late in wishing me happy birthday and said that she was busy with her school projects and hence cannot join us today. 

However I had a keen feeling but cannot be sure and I actually I kinda expected Yunqi to turn up but I did not expect Siying to come too. So happy that it's full strength today!

Since class ended early today, I had to wait for Kim to knock off and I spent my time walking around the shops aimlessly. I wanted to try Yoogane and Kim told me that she have a friend who works there so I need not queue. 

And guess what, when I came up to Yoogane to meet her when she reached, the first thing I saw is a big birthday balloon and then the girls.

This is the birthday balloon that they bought and I had to carry it around while walking.

Thanks to them queueing before hand, I did not have to wait long before we get a table.

Since our order were taken when we were waiting outside, once we got our table, the staff set up the pan for cooking and soon prepared to cook.

Using the vegetables to cover the meat so it will cook faster 

Not sure if it's really busy in the restaurant or what but we had a lot of people taking turn cooking for us and they keep leaving after frying for a while and we had to wait for some time before they cooked our fried rice together with the galbi

So rare to have princess Yunqi cooking and serving me today.

Finally it's done! The Chicken Galbi that we ordered is quite spicy but together with the fried rice and cheese it's actually very addictive after a few bites. The spiciness is also not that overpowering as we eat more.

The non-spicy sweet chicken bulgogi that cooled down our burning taste buds after eating the spicy Galbi.

 It was quite bland to me but Kimberlin enjoyed it as she likes eggs a lot

We walked around after the dinner but could not think of what else to do, hence we decided to use grabtaxi to cab home.

I really enjoyed the celebration that the girls planned for me today and I'm really grateful and appreciative of whatever they have done for me today, the surprise, dinner treat, the birthday balloon and also the free cab back.  Love you girls!
