Taipei Day 6 | Rilakkuma Cafe

Time is passing so fast! And today is our last day in Taipei! I don't wanna leave! Everything is so awesome here, the food, the people, the weather! The weather was getting warmer but still fine! Time to head to my favourite character, Rilakkuma Cafe!

We were early! The cafe only opens at 11.30am, but good time to take pictures!

Can't wait for the cafe to open!

The cafe finally opened its doors at 11.30am! Did I mention everyone and everything in Taiwan is so punctual!

With my favourite bear 🐻

And Pigg

Thank god we made reservations and we got the sofa seats even though there's only two of us! The cafe still remained popular as more people strolled in as time passes

The merchandise area of the cafe. Everything looks so cute! I wanna get them all, but it's not cheap so I didn't get anything in the end. Saving up for Japan so I could go for a haul at the rilakkuma store

The attractive window displays for the desserts!

Can I bring this one home?

See! How to resist!

How can people not come in and dine after seeing these good looking desserts?

In a dilemma on which one to order for dessert as everything looked totally cute and yummy!

🐻+🍰=😍

Our food came while we were busy exploring the cafe. My Japanese curry and pork cutlet rice. How can I BEAR to eat this?!

With Rilakkuma plush! Another perk of Pigg's birthday. As long as your birthday is within 7 days, one can get to enjoy 10% off desserts and eat with rilakkuma for 20mins! But end up nobody birthday, so we had the rilakkuma for our entire meal 😁

Pigg's lazy rilakkuma meatball and omurice. So cute too!

Sorry to cut off his head, cos the food more important 😂

Surprisingly, the food here not only looks good but tastes equally good too! There is also free serving of rice for those who thinks it's not enough. But we did not call for extra since we still have desserts. I love the pork cutlet the most! And Pigg kept eyeing on my cutlet, waiting for me to offer him a second piece and hoping that I could not finish 😂

Dessert time! My cheesecake!

And Pigg's soufflé which took longer to prepare

Admiring the cuteness of the dessert before officially digging in

Pigg too, but can tell he's like drooling and can't wait to dig in

A visit to the Beary cute restroom before leaving

Time to say goodbye to the rilakkuma heaven!

After brunch, it's time to do some souvenir shopping for our relatives! Headed down to Chia Te especially to buy pineapple cakes and sun biscuit. Look at the queue for this famous pastry!

We were given this slip to fill in and collect our orders after making payment at the cashier

Long queues but it's worth it. Regretted not buying more back, the pineapple cake is just so goodddd

Time to head back to ximen after all that souvenir shopping. Even went back with a newly bought cardigan that I snagged at a pushcart while walking to the station

Second round of dessert! Mango shaved ice back at Ximending! Another to-eat food ticked off my list! Even though this might not look very visually appealing but the taste is what matters! The mangoes are fresh and sweet which complements the milk shaved ice really well! Still prefer Taiwan shaved ice than Korean bingsu.

Back at ximending, we did not waste anytime to do last minute shopping before heading back to our hotel. Even till the last 5 minutes before boarding the cab we booked to the airport, I bought a pair of shoes 😁 which was one of my Best Buy!

Checked in our luggages, and time to bid goodbye to Taiwan...

Our last meal at the airport! 梅菜扣肉

Playing around cos there's no need to care about image when you're in a foreign country. Plus my feet hurt from this pair of shoes, therefore, the trolley ride makes us travel faster 😂

Boarded and it's really time to leave 😭

Bye Taiwan! 🇹🇼 I will surely be back to explore other places!
