Gudetama Cafe
Met up with Clarisa to do some catch up over eggs!
Finally checked Gudetama Cafe off my to-visit cafes list!

Lucky us got a seat in one of the egg pods! So nice to come here when the hype has died down, no queues or long wait for the food.

A glimpse on what's inside the restaurant, cute gudetama in different forms of food. Egg lovers should really visit as egg is used in all dishes here.
As cherry blossoms are in season now, we ordered from their limited Haru set lunch menu which serves Sakura themed food. This set lunch is quite affordable as we can top up $3.9 for a drink (choice of Americano or oolong tea), $8.90 for drink and dessert (rose lychee cake), and $13.90 for drink, appetiser and dessert.

We went for one $3.9 and $8.9 top up for a dessert to share. So cute that their top-ups are named after lazy terms like chill set and nua set
We both ordered the pomegranate oolong tea which looks so cute!

The tea came along with a gudetama biscuit with clotted cream and strawberry jam.

Selfie when our food came! Clarisa's new huawei phone front camera really churns out clear photos. Though this pic might seem blur due to the compression through whatsapp

My gekiuma teriyaki tori don soon came along. I've always have the conception that themed cafes food are always nice to look at but not nice to eat. Gudetama cafe really proved me wrong! The food came in generous portions, looked and taste appetising. Topped with bonito flakes and seaweed, I really enjoyed the sweet pink rice with the cute gudetama onsen egg. The portions of teriyaki chicken is so hefty that I could not finish the rice though I love it a lot.

Clarisa's spring mentaiko pasta. Could never resist the cuteness of the lazy gudetama. Clarisa's pasta tasted quite good too! I was never a fan of cream pasta but this one had all of my favourites, bacon, ebi roe and Sakura ebi.

Before we even got to dessert, we were a tad full. But there's always room for dessert! Lovely Sakura chantilly cream atop the sponge cake with bits of lychee and raspberry jam and topped with a lazy gudetama chocolate. The raspberry macaron was nice too! The desserts was not overtly sweet, therefore enjoyable.

Last picture with Easter bunny gudetama before we finally left the restaurant at 3plus! Had a good catch-up session with clarisa!
