Cream and Custard
Part two of our Tiong Bahru cafe hopping journey is continued at Cream and Custard. I followed them on Instagram and always enjoyed looking through their lovely desserts against the clean white backgrounds. Exactly like the photos on Instagram, the cafe is simple and cozy, a great place to enjoy your desserts. Also many thanks to @thelocalhunter for the giveaway, I get to enjoy their Passion Fruit Meringue Tarts
We wanted to try the cool looking black ball at first, but the Chef's recommended we try Sundae as it is would taste lighter as it is made of mascarpone cheese compared to the rich dark chocolate in S'mores. The Passion Fruit Meringue Tart is also one of their specials but my favorite is still the Sundae, which I fell in love on the first bite, S'mores may be a little 'jelat' if one were to finish the whole thing on its own. The passion fruit meringue tart has a little hint of sourness but not as bad as it is light. Overall, we had a great balance of rich and light flavors in our choice of desserts.
The desserts just look so pretty on its own. Pretty on the outside and delicious in the inside.

Sissy is like can we eat already?
Cream and Custard has a environment which is really suitable for sipping a cuppa while reading a book, but I would still prefer that people would not do that as it would hog up seats for avid cafe hoppers who are there to enjoy the desserts.
I certainly would come back for more, one of the best desserts I've tried so far. It might not be very accessible for many, but I guess my love for desserts will overcome the distance.
