GRUB
University life at SIT have recently started for me and I have always been looking forward to it ever since I got accepted into my dream course- Hospitality Business.
First week of school have been great so far, as I only attended two formal days of school as there are no tutorials. I also do not have school on Wednesdays, hence it was short and sweet as Friday was polling day!
On Tuesday morning, we went to school to attend a short half an hour career talk. Our next lecture is all the way in the afternoon at 4pm, so we had a super long break... Of course, a five hour break calls for cafe hopping! Hence, we decided to go GRUB!
The PSI level these days have been really unhealthy, yet we are still out in the haze and we had difficulty finding the way to Bishan Park due to the constructions. I had been to GRUB once but I've forgotten how to go there as I don't really have a good sense of direction...
Camera eat first! GRUB Cheeseburger, Chilli Crab Pasta, Mushroom Pasta and Sakura Ebi Pasta
Sakura Ebi Pasta (picture from last visit)
Ordered Sakura Ebi Pasta this time round again but was a lil disappointed as it turned out quite dry, but other than that, they are quite generous in their ingredients especially the amount of prawns and shrimps used. The prawns are also really fresh and succulent!
A meal is not complete without desserts! GRUB offers a selection of homemade cakes which attracted my eye ever since I sat down. I could not decide between their Chocolate Salted Caramel Tart and Butterscotch Arabica Choux. But I Finally settled on a Butterscotch Arabica Choux as it looks special. It looked like a puff but it is more like a crunchy shell which contains coffee and butterscotch and tasted surprisingly delightful to my taste buds.
Really enjoyed the good company of my wonderful course mates and very thankful to them for having so much trust in me in choosing the cafe (though I do not really know my way there).
o many more cafe hopping sessions to come!
